Who is Eric Johnson? There is a group of famous men with the same name on Wikipedia. That’s why we had his middle name Maxwell included here to differentiate this hunk from other Johnsons.

Eric Maxwell Johnson, born 1979 in Massachusetts, is of intellects. He’d attended the prestigious Yale University.
Apparently, Eric Johnson has the genes of athleticism too. He played played the college football as a wide receiver for his Ivy League uni. Eric became a hero for Yale’s come-from-behind victory against Harvard in the 1999 Harvard-Yale Game after catching 21 receptions for 244 yards.
Eric Johnson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played as a tight end for the 49ers until 2007 before he signed New Orleans Saints and was finally released as a free agent in July, 2008.
Despite of his success in the football, Eric Johnson did not have have a successful marriage. He split from wife Kerri Johnson earlier this year, filing for divorce in February.
Anyhow, Eric met the singer/actress Jessica Simpson and began dating since May. Miss Simpson had a much complicated love history than his new beau. She previously married as wife for singer Nick Lachey.

After the marriage to Lachey ended in a divorce finalized in 2006, Jessica Simpson went on to be romantically linked to her Employee of the Month co-star Dane Cook and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levineand musician John Mayer, with the longest post-divorce relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
It seems nowadays Johnso -Simpson relationship is quite good as it is said they’re “very happy.” Will the fling with Eric Johnson be a tight end of Jessica Simpson?
